The Plan, and Story

I have worked for some time against a plan to document our family history. Some early successes but then life gets in the way and time passes ... Over the years, we have managed several annual letters and in recent years annual video "Year In Review" mostly as digital disks. About 10 years ago I found the Homestead.com website which provided the tools to generate several websites, the 497th RTG where we served for four years in the 1980s, an Officer Candidate School site, documenting the commissioning experience and a couple of reunions, and a Roy Retreat site, which had a fairly good story of our 2002 year, which included a lot of travel, Son Vincent's Retirement from the Air Force in San Antonio, and a visit to the Roy Retreat by granddaughter Chadahn.

This year, I'll begin again to move the project forward a bit...

I'm not sure where we will begin, perhaps with the early years, but more likely starting to track back using the annual letters and videos together with photos to work our way back in time. A "mixed media" exercise and maybe a narration or text to tie it all together.
